Our 30-day return policy for unopened board games.
1. The 30-Day Return Window
We confidently stand behind the meticulous curation of our board game boutique. If you decide that a purchased game is not the right fit for your collection, we offer a straightforward 30-day return window. This window begins on the exact date your package is marked as delivered by the carrier. Return requests initiated after this 30-day period will unfortunately be declined.
2. Strict Condition Requirements
Due to the collectible nature of premium tabletop products, returned items must be in completely pristine, factory-sealed condition. The external cellophane shrink wrap must remain fully intact. If the shrink wrap has been removed, torn, or if the game box has been opened, punched, or played, we absolutely cannot accept the return, as the item can no longer be sold as a new product to other discerning hobbyists.
3. The Return Process
To initiate a return, please send an email to support@lotshappines.nl containing your original order number and a clear photograph showing the sealed condition of the game you wish to return. Upon approval, our support team will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the return shipping address. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part.
4. Refund Timeline
Once your return is received and meticulously inspected by our receiving department (usually within 48 business hours of delivery to our facility), we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the condition parameters stated above. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 5 to 7 business days.
5. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged from the factory. If you discover a missing or misprinted component inside your new game, please refer to our FAQ regarding replacement parts, as we will coordinate directly with the publisher to send you the missing wooden meeple or cardboard token without requiring a full game exchange.
